The scan took four minutes and 22 seconds and 262,381 objects were scanned. Ease of Use/Download: Downloading NoAdware was easy required very little time. A notice appeared right away prompting me to download the latest updates if I would like. The software interface was extremely plain. Even so, tons of people utilize this software as NoAdware is almost at a spectacular 50 million downloads, so looks are not the sole determinant! When you first download the interface, it seems that NoAdware is missing features compared to competitors. If the user is seeking all of the options within view, this isnt the tool they would want. The user will need to access the features available through the drop-down menu on the options tab to understand the true options of this product. Features: The Software Window Contains: Scan My PC Begins the scanning processes on your PC. Scan Files/Folders Offers a choice of which objects the user prefers to scan and ignores the others. Stop Scan There is no pause option for the scan. You will have to stop the process instead. Update Protection By choosing the update protection option, you are supplied the latest protection available. Remove Items When the scanning is done, you will be delivered the choice to remove the threats found. Purchase of the repair function within the software will be required to fix the issues. Options Contains the a drop-down menu where most of the options are in the software.
Support: NoAdware provides live chat during the hours of 5 am to 11 pm Eastern Time. During my questions sent to the chat representative, he seemed sufficiently prepared with knowledge about their software. Thorough help files also exist to guide you if needed. Effectiveness: During our NoAdware review 18 of the 20 malware files we installed on the computer were found. All 18 were eliminated without a problem during the first round of scanning and repair. The first complete scanning detected 12 registry issues, 460 cookies, and eight files. A total of 262,381 were scanned, as mentioned previously. Recommendation: If you are seeking a gorgeous looking software with all options readily in sight, this probably not your software of choice. NoAdware is designed for simplicity and to get to work on repairs. A new design would be nice in the future so the look of the software will match its perfromance. From the view of features for the price, this product is a great value as the user will only make one payment ever to enjoy years of ongoing Trojan and spyware protection.
